Fintech Venture Day Tel-Aviv 2016


 

Global FinTech Venture Day on February 16th, 2016

IE Business School, Santander InnoVentures and Accenture have launched FinTech Venture Days, an innovative program designed to encourage and empower vibrant financial technology (FinTech) startup ecosystems around the world and foster innovation in financial services. The FinTech Venture Days will be held in three cities in 2016: Tel Aviv Israel, on February 16th; 14th of April in Madrid, Spain and  on May Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The program brings together experienced regional stakeholders, including investors, experienced entrepreneurs and startups, to discuss the issues faced by FinTech startups today and offer support in the form of advice, insights and best practices.

FinTech Venture Day in Tel Aviv is open to any startup operating within the financial services industry particularly in the areas of payments, alternative lending, wealth management and investment services, client and risk analytics, customer experience, and the digital delivery of financial services.

 

Evaluation criteria:

The assessment of the projects will be based on the following criteria:

  • Innovation level of the project submitted to the contest and the arguments that demonstrate its value to turn into a reality.
  • Maturity of the project that should be at least in a beta or prototype stage.
  • Viability of projects in the FinTech industry.
  • Economic and social impacts that its implementation would have.
  • Capacity, dedication and experience of the team to implement the project.

Credible offers alternative credit scoring aimed to access a population of unbanked and underbanked, based on a hybrid approach of taking borrowers financial profile and his psycholinguistic profile from social media space.

Patended payment technology that provides interest-free financing with no credit checks or application process. It allows customers to make purchases with interest-free monthly installments.

Platform that allows payments within social networks such as whatsapp, twitter, facebook messenger etc. It has the benefit of being social network agnostic, offer white label solutions for banks and API level integration with bank payment systems and security.
